Yesterday, February 9th, at 11:25 AM, Officer and Deputies from the the Thief River Falls Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant on a rural Thef River Falls residence. This warrant was in conjuntion with an investigation into a series of car thefts and burglaries in and around the Thief River Falls area. Numerous items believed to be stolen in a 3 county area were recovered at the scene, including 2 firearms. Processing evidence, and further investigation remains underway.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The public can now view winter road conditions from the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s new “plow cams” available through the 511mn.org website. MnDOT announced today that some of the agency’s 838 snowplows are equipped with cameras that show real-time road conditions along plow routes.

The Law Enforcement Center is going to an automated answering service on all administrative lines to include 218-681-6161. This will occur the morning of October 7th, 2016 at approximately 7:30am. There are nine extensions to choose from plus "0" for Dispatch. There is also a greeting which lists the extensions and you may dial any extension at any time during the message.
