Yesterday, February 9th, at 11:25 AM, Officer and Deputies from the the Thief River Falls Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant on a rural Thef River Falls residence. This warrant was in conjuntion with an investigation into a series of car thefts and burglaries in and around the Thief River Falls area. Numerous items believed to be stolen in a 3 county area were recovered at the scene, including 2 firearms. Processing evidence, and further investigation remains underway.
Two subjects were arrested at the scene. They are:
Phillip David Trontvet, 25 years of age; and
Jensen Johnston, 25 years of age.
Subjects are currently in custody at the Pennington County Jail pending charges.
