At approximately 5:49 pm on 10-23-2023, The Thief River Falls Police Department, Thief River Falls Fire Department, and Pennington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a residential fire at 504 Knight Ave N in Thief River Falls.
While putting out the fire, a body of an adult male was located inside the residence. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Thief River Falls PD, Pennington County SO, and State Fire Marshals. At this time, we do not suspect foul play. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
The name of the deceased is being held pending the notification of family.
