Starting Monday April 10, 2017 annual spring burning restrictions are going into effect for Pennington county. They will be in effect until green up. During this period only variance permits may be issued for special circumstances such as prescribed fire projects, approved agricultural practices, or road construction projects. Recreational campfires in a fire ring do not require a burning permit and are not subject to spring burning restrictions.
